What convertible car seats works well for newborns?
I know the description on a lot of the convertible car seats say 5lbs-40lbs or 5lbs-65lbs but I was wanting to know if convertible car seats can REALLY be used for newborns and if so what are some good brands?
I've heard complaints that some of the convertible car seats, like the Britax Roundabout, don't recline far enough and the baby's head would fall forward or that some don't recline at all.
I would greatly appreciate answers from people who've had experience w. convertible car seats and answers from those who've used them w. their newborns. Thanx.

we had a convertible one when our son was born and never had a problem and he was on the small side. here is the one that we had when he was a newborn

when me mom found the travel system we used the infant seat cause it fit him better but he was almost 2 months old than. we also have one like this one cause it works better for the car that i have now and we needed a second one cause my mom picks my son up from daycare and that made it easier. here it is

i would suggest getting a convertible one that way that's all you need and both of ours recline far enough for a newborn. here are some more links to different ones.

we chose the ones we have cause they had all the padding a newborn needs plus they both rear face till 35Ibs which is safer and then they go all the way up a belt positioning booster. one is up to 80Ibs and the other is up to 100Ibs. and when we do turn him around my mom has an older seat that he can use in her car and we can bring the gray one home to go in our truck and i can leave the other in my car.
