What car seat should I chose for my baby?
my son is 8mths old, and around 21 pounds, hes quite tall for his age so his legs hang out the infant car seat we bought with our pram and its getting too narrow at the sides for him and the straps are becoming a bit tight, Im trying to shop for car seats but Im confused, there are ones for 0-4yrs and ones for 9mth-4 years I take it one from birth can face both ways and the other one cant, so which one am I better buying, can your baby face forward in a car at 9mths? I thought it was a year! Which kind should I go for? Can you recommend any good ones? Thanks!
In the UK, it's APPROX 9 months. You can put him in a front facing one if he can sit up by himself comfortably - that's the more solid rule.
My daughter was about 8 months when she went into a front facing one - I was told in the shop (Babies R Us) that it was fine - and obviously more comfortable for her.
Anything by Britax is great for this stage, as he'll be in it for a while!
