i should i go about telling my friend a first time mother that her infant safety seats is not up to safely?
my 20 year old friend just had a baby in november. she is not 2 months old and i am doing day care for her. i noticed the other day that the restraints in the car seat were not were they should have been. they are so lose that i can fit 3 fingers between the child and the seat belt. how do i go about telling her that the seat is not safe? if she were to get into a wreck her baby is going to come right out of that seat! i am just concerened for the baby, but because i am 3 months younger then my friend and she is the mother she acts like i don't know what I'm talking about! and for that I'm sad. but i do need to know how to go about telling her or her husband about my concerns.
Tell her and if she says you don't know what you're talking about, tell her to shut up and listen to you, because you care about her and her baby. If she gets mad, then that's okay, because she'll thank you for it in the long run.
If she still doesn't listen, do some research and show her. It'll make you seem more mature and she might listen
