Which carseat is best?
I have a Chevy Cavalier. My son is almost a year and around 22lb. I really don't want to spend more than $175.

The only one I could recommend is the My Ride, there's really little point buying a car seat that doesn't allow at least 65lbs with the internal harness (forward facing). Rear-facing until 40lbs is also really good.
They may soon change the laws to require rear-facing until 2 years of age, and its generally not advisable to use a booster until about age 6 because the child has to be responsible enough to sit properly
There are plenty of other seats which use the harness for 65lbs, but I'm in Canada so I can only get a fraction of them so I don't really have a list for you
