Can you buy a new carseat cover?
I don't know if "cover" is the right word. My deal right now is, I am 5 months pregnant, I have a 2 year old that we bought a very nice/expensive infant carrier for. The problem is, he's a boy, the carseat cover (?) is blue, but according to the sonogram we are having a girl. I hate to go out and buy a whole new carrier when our old one is in perfect shape but I do want to go all out and have pink stuff for our first little girl (2 boys previously) I was wondering if there's anywhere I could go to put in the model number of the carseat to pick a new cover, when I google this all I get are the covers that go OVER the carseats that are used to keep them warm. What I want is the actual padded part that the baby sits on. Is there anywhere I can go to do this?

I know graco has them on their site. Look up the manufacturer of your seat and see what is available. Also, you could try Craigslist or a used baby store and see if they have them as well. On CL you may have to buy the seat as well, but the price should be low enough that you should not feel bad for only using the cover.
I have not checked Etsy to see if they have any, but you could ask a seller to make you one if you find someone you like. Or you could make one yourself.
